CASELOAD takes place in a drug treatment facility somewhere in New York State. Under the harsh realities of treatment, like an army boot camp, two counselors, Adonis and Emma attempt to guide eight clients from different walks of life onto the road to recovery. They desperately fight to save their lives in an environment which is designed to unveil the deepest secrets of the soul. The clients and counselors; laugh, cry, scream, cajole, coax, fight, and love each other in order that they may learn to love themselves. As with addiction some will make it, some won't. Some just need to stay where they are. This is raw hard hitting theatre. CASELOAD. -- This is a backer's reading so help us fill the house!

April 24, 2009 White Buffalo Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Nostalgia and Dreams, written by Brett Holland, and directed by Kerrie Keane.
In a metropolis where a pair of gobbling “suits” is devouring the neighborhoods, a centuries-old Cathedral is awaiting its demise, and the inhabitants of an apartment building across the street are hungering......
A teenager creating herself is wasting away, while an old woman chats and sings to her solitude. A man, suffering his appetite, is shadowed by his ‘boy’, mocking and confronting, and a secret is straining the love between a man and woman.
Only when the wrecking ball collides with the cathedral and a young man encounters the power of a peanut is there a pause in the perpetual motion of Nostalgia and Dreams, revealing the fleeting poetry of life.
Nostalgia and Dreams runs April 24-May 24, 2009
Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.
Sundays at 7 p.m.
Deaf West Theatre
5112 Lankershim Blvd.
North Hollywood, CA 91601
